Our UPS system, the one that powering all our servers, has been hit by a power surge and renders all our servers into a complete halt.
Our UPS system, the one that powering all our servers, has been hit by a power surge and renders all our servers into a complete halt.
We have successfully brought back two servers into operation at 6pm today using conventional wall socket power source; so both of our internal library system (ILMU) and Pustaka Portal (pustaka.upsi.edu.my) services has been restored.
However, the servers that provide the service to E-Journal Lab and OPAC terminals has yet to be restored as we were unable to find suitable power supply to cater the needs. Both services will be unavailable at the library until further notice.
We are truly sorry for the inconvenience cause by this incident and hope to rectify this issue as soon as possible.
